From the ancient and wise tradition of the shipwright, like the artist, meticulously worked the wood to create hulls with superb lines and exceptional nautical qualities, still today, with the same skill and passion of the past, the same carpenters , born on the " Carpentieri e Calafati " building site located along the Livorno ditches, which followed one another for five generations, converting wood with iron, with steel and aluminum, they design, create and carry out excellent processes for diversified and specialized uses and technologically advanced.

Thus was born the " Metallic and Naval Processing " Srlu, a company operating in the naval metal carpentry sector. Its roots date back to the end of the 19th century when the Cecchi family moved from the limit on the Arno to Livorno . Today the Company represents a unique reality of its kind where the specialization and attention to a specialized design and manufacturing, targeted and adapted according to the areas and segments of application, become the flagship in the national panorama of shipbuilding.

The company builds, in particular, high-precision structures in stainless steel, aluminum and iron, able to follow the entire process of carrying out the work from design to final implementation.

It also carries out ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of mechanical systems; we carry out technical and commercial services to companies operating in the plant engineering, electrotechnical, electromechanical, engineering and naval sectors.

High precision machining is performed with the use of automatic power tools and latest generation machinery and equipment for laser cutting.

The company operates on a total surface area of ​​7,000 square meters on the ground and 1,600 square meters of water located in the industrial area of ​​Livorno and in the Navicelli area of ​​Pisa.
